Can the Quran and Authentic Hadith shed light on the motive of a Muslim migrant torching a synagogue in Wuppertal Germany in September 2026?

As written by Yoav Etiel of the Jerusalem Post, on Friday the 18th September 2026, it was the previous day on Thursday the 17th September 2026 in broad daylight, that German police arrested a 37-year-old Afghan national for allegedly setting fire at the entrance to the Bergische synagogue in Wuppertal’s Barmen district. The synagogue is guarded by police almost around the clock, and it is possible that the close security presence enabled officers to identify and arrest the suspect so quickly.
No one was injured, and the site sustained minor damage. Police launched an investigation into the incident.
According to Wuppertal police, at around 2 p.m., the suspect poured a flammable liquid over the synagogue’s entrance steps in the Barmen district and set them on fire. Members of the community quickly extinguished the blaze, and police arrested the suspect nearby.
Police said the man is known to them and that, according to initial findings, he acted alone. At this stage, police have not disclosed the motive for the attack.
To which, perhaps some selected verses from the Quran can shed some light?? As indeed documented in Jihad Watch on Sunday September 20th, 2026:

10) Feeling pain when others are happy or fortunate (3:120);
11) Being arrogant about their being Allah’s beloved people (5:18);
12) Devouring people’s wealth by subterfuge (4:161);
13) Slandering the true religion and being cursed by Allah (4:46);
14) Killing the prophets (2:61);
15) Being merciless and heartless (2:74);
16) Never keeping their promises or fulfilling their words (2:100);
18) Being unrestrained in committing sins (5:79);
19) Being cowardly (59:13-14);
20) Being miserly (4:53);
21) Being transformed into apes and pigs for breaking the Sabbath (2:63-65; 5:59-60; 7:166);
22) They are under Allah’s curse (9:30),
23) Muslims should wage war against them and subjugate them under Islamic hegemony (9:29).”
And perhaps the Authentic Hadith of Sahih al-Bukhari 2222, In-book reference: Book 34, Hadith 169]
“Allah’s Messenger said, By Him in Whose Hands my soul is, son of Mary (Jesus) will shortly descend amongst you people (Muslims) as a just ruler and will break the Cross and kill the pig [See note #21] and abolish the Jizya [a tax taken from the non-Muslims, who are in the “protection”, of the Muslim government – Bluntly, an extortion Mafia-like tax as defined in The Pact of Umar]. Then there will be abundance of money and nobody will accept charitable gifts.”
And again perhaps, another Authentic Hadith – this time of Sahih Muslim 2922; Book 54, Hadith 103
“The last hour would not come unless the Muslims will fight against the Jews and the Muslims would kill them until the Jews would hide themselves behind a stone or a tree and a stone or a tree would say: Muslim, or the servant of Allah, there is a Jew behind me; come and kill him; but the tree Gharqad would not say, for it is the tree of the Jews.”
However, in quoting and considering such Quranic verses and Hadith, one can only imagine in the perception of the Islamophile German Police, as being the ultimate embodiment of “Islamophobia”. Hence moreover, when Judeo-Christian Western Civilisation ceases to exist, at least it can then be said, that Judeo-Christian Western Civilisation, like Adolf Hitler and his National Socialists, was never Islamophobic!
Ultimately, in a pseudo-Forrest Gump parlance;
“Islam is as Islam WRITES and does.”
